3. Characteristics of PU conveyor belt
PU is also called recycled leather. It is characterized by light weight, wear resistance, anti-slip, cold resistance, and chemical resistance, but it is expensive, easy to tear, poor mechanical strength, and poor tear resistance. PU has fewer colors. Mainly black or brown. The texture is soft, suitable for making casual bags, the price is not high, and it is easy to fade. The two conveyor belts have one thing in common, that is, different materials are used on the front and back. The material on the back should minimize friction, and there needs to be friction on the front. The bottom yarn needs to effectively prevent the conveyor belt from deforming, extend the service life of the conveyor belt, increase the wear resistance of the bottom layer of the conveyor belt, and reduce friction.
4. How to distinguish PVC conveyor belts from PU conveyor belts
① Look at the surface. The two conveyor belts look very similar. The PU conveyor belt is harder than PVC;
② Smell the smell. Both conveyor belts have a certain smell, but the PVC conveyor belt has a heavier smell and a bad smell, while the PU conveyor belt has no faint smell.
